 Reiki helps ease tension and stress, and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional.  Client involvement is limited; try to relax and enjoy the session.
 
BEAM™ offers an effective and efficient method of releasing past unprocessed emotions along with associated toxins; shown to help with a variety of issues; stress, anxiety, lack of confidence, self-esteem issues, sleep problems, and various illnesses, to name a few.  BEAM™ sessions are popular with teenagers dealing with stress and anxiety; they do not have to talk about how they are feeling or why they are upset. The energy work is done in a manner many teenagers appreciate. Client involvement is limited; they need to follow some instructions. 
No requirement to talk about any past trauma.
 
Newly-emerging energy-based psychotherapy; this work uses the Soul Detective protocols; it goes to the root of issues that clients want to release. Soul Detective work takes a more direct route. In general, it is a little less gentle then BEAM™. I prefer to use this method for clients who have some energy work experience and are aware of an issue they want to resolve. Here are some examples of recent client work; 

• Dealing with a feeling they can't shake.
• A reoccurring pattern.
• Negative thought patterns. 
• The inability to move forward.
• A sense that something is holding them back. 
• A deep fear or phobia.

 
Each session is unique to the client and can lead to the various direction for clearing and healing. Client participation in required in this work, talking about the issue and trauma is common. The client should come with an open mind, and ready to be interactive.
 
 
New Client Offer: Book a Welcome Session this will give you a 90-minute session which includes; a 30-minute conversation to introduce energy work, followed by a BEAM™ and or Reiki.

Insurance Information: Please check with your insurance provider to see if your benefit plan covers Reiki under paramedical. More recently, company health plans may cover Energy Work through a personal spending account. (PSA)

Brenda is a compassionate, responsible energy worker who puts her client's comfort and well being first.  She has great respect for energy healing and energy psychology methods.
Brenda has been practicing energy work for the past ten years. She continues to take courses to enhance her abilities; this allows her to offer different holistic methods to her clients.
 
Brenda is professional, warm and inviting; she is non-judgmental and sees each client as unique. She has worked for over 20 years in the Corporate Sector, bringing energy work to the office environment.  She works with all age groups and demographics. She has an intuitive sense and natural ability to communicate and answer client's questions or concerns and holds high regard for establishing an honest, working relationship before each session.  
 
Brenda holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, which has helped her understand the recent scientific studies supporting the benefits of meditation and energy work. She is a Reiki Master Practitioner and is an active member of the Canadian Reiki Association.  She is a BEAM™  practitioner and teacher who studied under Dr. Joan Beattie, MD.  She most recently completed Soul Detective training under Dr. Barbara Stone Ph.D.
 
She believes in self-empowering her clients providing them with tips they may easily incorporate in their everyday life.  She has completed her Mental Health Certificate First Aid Certificate through the Mental Health Commission of Canada.  Brenda volunteers at Wellsprings as a Reiki Practitioner providing sessions to cancer patients and their caregivers. 
 
Energy work is safe. It stimulates your body's natural healing ability.
